Been lepakking with a fellow friend who was ALSO a drummer from st-john high school, and yeah he is from batch 1996 and he showed me their yearbook garuda-mas 1996 and all the class picture including the students name (beliau siap boleh story pasal all the form mates one by one, yer daya ingatan sangat kuat cayalah Jeff!) , and he also showed me one thick album yang ada all the pictures from his senior year with ALL the drummers kebanggaan beliau memandangkan beliau adalah SECTION CAPTAIN so, yes be very scared for I know (both of) you know what I mean. Yes, I know. And FYI, aku sangat pendendam so be very very scared.

Dendam put aside.

Wah, st-john won the KL level competition (too bad I wasn't there to watch walaupun dah diremind Jeff berkali-kali memandangkan dia yang organize the event and what not. Hujan la, macha!) and will be going for the national level this August. When Jeffril told me the news I was quite surprised and said, "Wah, V-I kalah?" to which he sengeh and answered "V-I tak masuk lah dear.." and of course I said "Patutlah st John menang.. haha"

And that was not the only surprise yer, kawan-kawan.

"Guess who won at johor?"

"Errr.. "

"STF! I terus teringat you. Jom la nanti turun Pasir Gudang for the national level support our schools"

"Waaaiiittt a sec. STF won?"

"Yessss"

So today I watched the video of st-john nyer performance at jeff's fb and I must say St. John has improved so much and I must give credits to them. They might have deserved to win pun, even if V-I join the competition maybe deyrang akan menang jugak, who knows, kan. Apsal ntah si jeff nak frustrated dengan performance adik-adik, banyak mistake katanyer. Biasala tuh captain mana pernah puas hati.

Owh by the way, was ym-ing with Oni few weeks back. He told me that TKC won the orchestra competition. I'm not surprised because of the fact that I knew they were equally good dengan kitorang during our years la (ehem). Tapi apa yang memeranjatkan aku adalah....

"Teka sapa instructor TKC skang?"

"Sapa?"

"Rejab"

"Whattt??? Rejab GSC??"

"Yup"

Tak aci kan. Everyone knows I heart GSC so much and now rejab yang terer main trumpet dan trombone itu adalah instructor tkc? the girls are very lucky.

So, pasir gudang, wait for me.

Anyway, here's the performance of st-john high school last month.




See what I mean, they have improved, kan? I like the hidden story anyway. Dah ala-ala video cavaliers yang kitorang selalu tengok dulu. Eheh.

And here is STF nyer performance at the Johore state level.

Haha. Spirit Solid Smart. Not? Well, the formation is too simple, the colorguards sangat menyibuk sebab langsung tak cantik dan tak saing (contohi colorguards st john gempak sey. Masa deyrang tengah jahit flags aku sempat gak tengok and menyibuk kat kantin sekolah. hehe. Owh dan instructor deyrang adalah import dari indon, ok). Ada certain gimik yang dah bosan sebab dari dulu macam tu. Tapi boleh tahan neat. Bunyi juga boleh tahan solid maybe sebab indoor. Bass solo? Not bad. tapi aku baru nak enjoy lagu tu tapi video ni sapa pulak yang edit? siyut jer potong stim. Bandgirls lain dialu-alukan untuk memberi kritikan membina di ruang komen.

Aku memang beginilah bila cerita pasal band. Glad that I crossed path with jeff cos we really have a lot to talk about! Dah la dia yang organize international punyer competition this year and I get to have a peek at the logo yang dia tengah design, siap ada presentation depan aku and I even get to give my opinion whether the logo can pakai or not. Woot woot. Rekod 6 bulan pun dia yang pecahkan. Ok, elin diam.

On other note,

I don't get it why people lie about something yang tak penting pun. Oh come on!
